“This Child Will Be Great”

rufusMadam President, Greatness Demands Accountability and Results.

A cloud of corruption, incompetence and arrogance cloud President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf’s administration. One wonders how much more a fractured country, still recovering from a civil war, can take.

We, the Liberian people must rally to demand accountability and transparency from the leader of our republic.

In the past couple of years, the scope of corruption has increased, along with the lack of political will to address this pernicious decline. We need an intense, concerted effort by the Liberian Diaspora, and citizens residing in Liberia , to hold Liberian leaders accountable. It is time to organize mass rallies that include but are not limited to lobbying international organizations, including the United States Congress to expose these issues.

We should start registering our displeasure with the seeming lack of urgent attention to these issues with peaceful rallies both at home and abroad, particularly when Madame President is on foreign trips to incant her Excellency to act more quickly and decisively to address these issues.    If this does not produce the desired actions from our leaders, we will then take the more drastic action of exposing these issues directly to the international community and partners, including the President of the United States of America and the US Congress. The implication is big –– some would call it ‘the Nuclear Option”, but this may be our last opportunity to bring about measurable change.

It is customary that when a president leaves office and becomes a private citizen, she writes her memoirs; join the lecture circuit that pays obscene amounts of money, or start a foundation to promote an international social cause. Many presidents have written books or had books written about them after their presidencies ended. However, in the midst of her presidency, amidst her country's rebuilding and healing process, President Sirleaf took the time to write her much publicized memoir entitled: This Child Will Be Great: Memoir of a Remarkable Life by Africa's First Woman President. Who has ever heard of a sitting head of state, taking time out from her presidential duties to write a book? A book that exalts her accomplishments, though limited as they are since assuming leadership. When she should be busy actually accomplishing something, worth writing about.

Well Madam President, with all due respect, you can’t assume the title of "great" without accountability and results. While it is quite possible that Madame Sirleaf may in fact turn out to be “great”, at this time we merely see an empty title given her seeming lack of bold leadership in addressing the cancer of corruption that continues to plague the Country. A world leader's greatness produces improved standards of living, abundant new sources of lucrative employment for citizens, top-notched public education, not just credentials, adequate medical care, a strong legal system, freedom from crime, and strengthened infrastructure.

It’s almost four years into her administration and pillaging by the simple-minded and egotistical individuals continue at a pace that seem to even exceed even her predecessors.  This is a very low standard indeed!  Every day, we hear about more cases of graft, injustice and nepotism. Most recently Frontpageafrica news organization reported a massive financial scandal involving Minister Rev. Dr. Laurence C. Bropleh, Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism (MICAT) along with two of his financial officials: Joseph Nyamunue, Controller and Josiah B.S. Gwagee, Chief Accountant. Immediately after the scandal was reported, both the Controller and Chief Accountant were arrested and detained. However, Mr. Bropleh (one of the alleged participants in the scandal) was merely ordered by the President to cut short his visit to China , and return to Liberia . Upon his return, he was not arrested like his fellow accused. Instead he was suspended and invited by the National Police and members of the law enforcement agency for questioning. Where is the equity when low level employees are the first to be arrested and placed in jail, and the Minster is free? Why is the Minister merely invited for a few hours of interrogation pending a long term investigation? Minister Bropleh was given preferential treatment due to his office, and not treated justly; equitable justice would have been served in the form of his immediate arrest like his alleged accomplices.

Minister Bropleh is yet another shameful example of corruption and injustice run amok. Mr. Bropleh was brought in as Minster to create the appropriate mechanism to prevent these kinds of financial crimes. It is extremely disturbing when the so-called financial liberators are in fact the financial oppressors. Furthermore, Mr. Bropleh is a man of the cloth and should be held to a much higher standard. It makes you wonder whether or not it's even possible to find an honest person in President Sirleaf's administration.

There is a mountain of evidence stacked against Minister Bropleh. In the event that he is found innocent of these changes, which most Liberians doubt, he should not be reinstituted due to his inability to lead effectively. Thus he is guilty of gross negligence, incompetence and dereliction of duty.

These single-mindedly self-absorbed members of President Sirleaf's inner circle are united by common characteristics. They are focused on power –– not on the uses of power to enhance the lives of Liberians, but rather as a means to receive hero worship. They are partial to blame-shifting, and hypocrisy. How can you explain paying the head of a government agency $20,000 to $25,000 US monthly when you can’t buy an X-ray machine or an ambulance for the once prestigious John F, Kennedy Medical Center ? Where is the equity when the head of the Bureau of Maritime Affairs is making $20,000 to $25,000 US a month while ordinary Liberians are making less than $70.00 monthly. What are the requirements for a $25,000 monthly salary and how was it determined? For a country with more than 80% unemployment, where is the sense of equity? Qualified Liberians should be justly compensated; I’m all for just and proper rewards. However, what is fair compensation versus excess? Everyone except the President and her cronies have sacrificed for Mama Liberia .

Frontpageafrica.com recently reported that the Chairman of the Board of the National Port Authorities, Binyah Kesselly vowed that those who leaked the memo to the public, revealing the salary increment for the Managing Director and her six deputies would be fired on grounds that the act is a breach of confidentiality. According to FPA, Mr. Kesselly went on to say  “Whoever gives out those documents, we do not care that you gave it out to show information, but if you went and gave out that confidential document, You Will be Fired - End of Discussion End of Story.” How can it be viewed as appropriate for Mr. Kesselly, the Head of the Board of the National Port Authority to take individual action as though he were working for a private entity, rather than a government agency. Due to the outrage of the Liberian people President Sirleaf came out with a strong statement saying that no one would be fired for this leak. The Liberian people have the right to know how much their leaders are earning, including the president, ministers, and heads of all government agencies. The person that leaked the salary to the public did his fellow Liberians a favor. Liberians have the right to know how much their officials are making. Only issues of national security should not be disclosed. There is nothing confidential about the salary of civil servants, or elected and appointed government officials.

The Liberian people expected President Sirleaf to be Liberia ’s George Washington, a trailblazer and fearless leader that would take our country to greatness. For three years, Liberians waited patiently for reforms. We were hopeful that President Sirleaf would bring the right people into government to serve the State, rather than to serve selfish interests.

Madam President if things don’t change within your administration, Liberians all over the world will start demonstrating against your administration, and organizing mass protests where ever you go. The Nuclear Option – informing the members of the United States Congress, will be our final effort to bring about the needed reform. We have no desire to use this option, because it may dry out international perception of Liberia ’s good will. However, the choice is yours Madam President –– bring about reform or we will do it for you.

Liberia frist.
Did the man say "We the Liberian People"? I did not even know that Mr. Rufus S. Berry II is designated to speak for all the Liberian.

Liberian community Leader? Okay, Charle Taylor was a Liberian community Leader in America back in the days.

Could it be that this community leader is looking for job, to join the Monrovia stealing club? The corruption claim on the Monrovia government is a direct result of people that were intrusted to saved their country from the united States of America.

some were as low as human services employees here in American. by the time they took assignment in Monrovia, they stated stealing to support their American families, GRADUATELY they turned the Monrovia government into a BIG FAT STEALING CLUB.

Rgarding the appointment of Mr. Benoni Urey, I personally support the president 1000%. I do not support Ellen Johnson offering if you carefully checked.

Mr. Benoni Urey, contribution is visible every where in the country. How he got his money is another story. HE CARE FOR LIBERIA, SO HE INVEST IN LIBERIA..
that is important for me.

The Tubman's have got the same funny money, where is their investment in the country?

They want the president Job, so that they will Steal more.

Mr. Benoni Urey appointment is a national cause. Any action taken to put LIBERIA and Liberian frist, You'll fine me in total support.

My vision is Liberia first,
not political party, or individual, or friendship.

I have seen Liberian community leaders come and go.
There are thousands of Liberian community leaders in America, they hardly do anything in Liberia, They only collect pesonal monies from their members in the name of Liberia..poor Liberia.
Let us put Liberia frist in everything..

Traitor?
VR,
Do you agree with Mr. TheLiberianPeople that this very scathing article of the President and her administration is well-written and thoughtful? From his laudable comment of the author, it will appear that Mr. TheLiberianPeople is beginning to diverge from your usual fanatical defend-at-all-cost posture of this administration. You may be the last man standing, VR.

In the interest of objectivity though (which is something we don't typically see from you and Mr. TheLiberianPeople), I have some reservation about the author's expectation that Bropleh should have been immediately arrested along with his fellow accused. This question did surface in my mind but I had to surmise that if the preponderance of evidence against Bropleh was not equivalent to that of his two cohorts, then this may be a reason for his not being arrested until such time that more evidence is compiled against him. His two accomplices were more directly hands-on in their crimes hence their immediate arrests were warranted.

As you can see, I am straining here to give this government the benefit of the doubt. That said, the reality is, from the perspective of Liberia's cronyism, the author may be dead-on that Bropleh may be enjoying his freedom simply because of his connections. We saw this play out in the case of his brother, Albert Bropleh, who was also involved in the pillaging of funds from LTA. Do you think both Bropleh belong in jail or should be enjoying their freedom?

SORRY MR. WLISON....
There is somone using the same pen name I have which I have no problem with - but the person decided to confuse the readers by making their pen name exactly as mine. There are many ways to write The Liberian People but the poster seem to want to confuse the readers.

I made it known that I'll put my pen name in the body of my post in bold letters TheLiberianPeople-TLP so as to differentiate me from other poster.

This poster is fighting the wrong fight - he or she is foolishly thinking that by taking my pen name, they will become me. This is just the mindset of the opposition - aways trying to confuse the public with their phony arguments. Good Luck , pal. You are just confusing your own members of the phony opposition.

I hope this will clear things up.

SIMPLY HOT AIR!
ELIMINATING CORRUTION IS A PROCESS AND NOT AN EVENT.

If Mr. Berry really thinks that by having to duplicate the 'Million Man March" tenfold will eliminate corruption than he is just one of those clueless Liberian sitting here in America blowing nothing but hot air. These guys are nothing but a big joke. Let compare the credibility of the Liberian government to the organizations some of these clueless noise makers are running here in America. I'll take the current leadership in Liberia over these sole losers sitting here in America.

Since Mr. Berry thinks eliminating corruption is an event, why not just call an event and waive the magic wane and than buff corruption will just disappear. What a jokers.

First of all, Mr. Berry will have to get his facts straight. The apprehension and detention of the two high ranking official was based on investigation by both the Finance and Justice Ministries and not FOXNEWS-FPA reporting. Secondly, the Controller and the Chief Accountant of the Information ministry are not some lesser employees as you claimed in your article. These two officials are the ones directly responsible for the disbursement of funds by the ministry - so it is a misrepresentation of the facts by you, Mr. Berry, just to make a bogus case.

Since this government came to power, it focus has been on how to put in place the various institutions and systems needed to greatly reduce the incidents of corruption. This work is not an event as Mr. Berry believes but a process that will take time. The GAC, the Judiciary on one hand and the computer systems that will streamline disbursements to eliminate ghost names from the national payroll are all in the works but the misguided critics are blinded to it.

Even Mr. John Morlu is seeing the improvement in the fight against corruption but if you listen to these politically motivated critics, you will think that nothing have been done about reducing corruption.

How soon we forget about how the false and quick prosecution of people in the past was one of the reasons we went to war. I'm surprise of the hastiness to which people are clamoring about prosecuting people with total disregard of our history of Kangaroo courts.

With our courts systems still trying to legitimize it self as independence and with competent jurists, here we have some demanding that we overload a judicial system that is still finding it way with every accusation of corruption reported by any new site even with a political agenda. I sometime wonder if these people are really thinking through the pros and cons of the actions they are demanding the administration to take.

SIMPLY HOT AIR!
Liberia seems to be a curse nation because of Liberians.
We neglect our universities and colleges because our children don't attend those institutions. We neglect our primary and secondary schools because our children don't attend those schools. We neglect our hospitals and clinics because our leaders, families and children don't go to those institutions for treatment when they are sick. We neglect our roads because Liberia is the farm and farm roads are meant to be farm roads. We have abundant rain but we neglect investment in food productions and beg others. We are proud of our individual personal victories rather than a public and collective victory. We don't invest in building strong institutions because of our Liberian connections in Liberia. The song supporters of the administration and government officials are singing in Liberia is that corruption didn't come to Liberia over night. It will take another century and a half for us to make a real impact against corruption. Our laws are selectively enforced depending on who is affected. The judiciary favors those with money over the poor even when the poor are the ones who haven been abused by the rich or government officials.
Our leaders don't obey the laws let alone a decision from the Supreme Court of Liberia. The police ask you for bribe money in day light without fear of the law because the judiciary is infested with corruption. Government officials steal public funds and are rewarded for a nice job done because corruption in Liberia is a shared Liberian vision.
To work in Liberian Government, one must some how be a member of the ruling party.
When was the last time President sirleaf went for medical check up at JFK? The last time I check, she came to the state for medical check up. How many government officials children attend schools in Liberia?
Poor Liberia, may God continue to bless you because for one thing no Liberians and their corrupt practices will break you down. Liberians will only break themselves down against Liberia. Liberia will be where she is when all the players, cronies and those who have hurt Liberia have departed this world to give their final accounts of the good life they live in Liberia and the world.
Poor Liberia, please go to bed and wait for the next day when an official or officials of government are designing strategies in meeting rooms on how to steal from you when day break.

FOXNEWS-FPA - REPORTING FAKE NEWS!

Mr. Wilson, you'll have to control yourself about your jumping to hasty conclusions without the benefit of the facts. This level of gullibility on your part is very much lowering your credibility as someone who seems to be a knowledgeable person.

It is therefore, rather unfortunate, that individuals would rush to dragging the character of others into the mud under the guise of news reporting. If your online news magazine must make a difference in the 'new media' landscape, please rise above the usual subjective journalism a good number of our media practitioners today in Liberia cannot resist. I sincerely hope you will raise the bar to another level and avoid being just another online site.

This is just another of the unprofessional and total disregard of the facts that is the trademark of Foxnews-FPA. Rodney Sieh is nothing but a political tool masquerading as a journalist.

De ja vus !!!!
UP party and the Election Commission is at their old tricks again, stealing election.

As the period of campaigning for the Montserrado County senatorial by-election closes Sunday, November 8, candidates are intensifying their efforts to ensuring that they win the election by any means necessary or available. It appears the course does not seem to be limited or restricted to the purchasing of votes from potential voters who will determine who occupies the vacant senatorial Montserrado County seat on Capitol Hill.
In the wake of repeated cries from some candidates that some of their counter-parts are involved in the purchasing of votes, FrontPageAfrica has reliably learnt that a group of campaigners from the camp of the ruling party’s aspirant are deeply carrying out the act of paying money to voters who allowed their voter’s identification number to be taken and written down by the group.
The group, referred to as “Foot-soldiers of Urey”, are said to be campaigning for Clemenceau Urey of the Unity Party (UP) who go from one house to another, requesting for audience with eligible voters and taking down their voter card identification numbers.
This relatively new method of campaign by the UP’s foot-soldiers reportedly led to an election violence on the Bushrod Island over the weekend which involved Montserrado County Representative Regina Sokan-Teah (Congress for Democratic Change-CDC) and a group of UP partisans and campaigners.
When contacted Wednesday, Representative Teah told FPA that she personally encountered a group of the Urey’s ‘foot-soldiers’ in the Jamaica Road community on Bushrod Island following a tip-off at the residence of a man she identified as Mark Smallwood.
According to her, when she immediately arrived at the scene where a queue had been formed, the group of people immediately scattered as they began to flee upon noticing her presence.
“I immediately ceased some of the materials they were using from one of them who was running into the room with the aid of some police who I went along with on Jamaica Road that day”, Representative Teah said.
Displaying a copybook with the inscription “Clemenceau Urey Campaign” along with some other documents that contain segmented portions for names, addresses, party affiliation, contact numbers and voter’s card identification number, Representative Teah said the act by the Urey’s camp is an attempt to manipulate the result of the by-election come November 10.
“This act is clandestine because as a candidate the best way to run campaign is to tell the people what you can do for them rather than taking their voter ID numbers”, the Montserrado County lawmaker said.
She further continued by adding, “This is a real evidence of the UP’s campaign of ‘money will win’ which they have been boasting around here with.”
The rather strange method of campaign comes in the midst of the popular implied UP’s slogan of “Money Will Win”, following the party’s First Partisan and Standard Bearer’s statement that its senatorial hopeful was entering the race with “resources”.
President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf recently told a mass Urey for Senate rally in Monrovia during the launch of the candidate’s campaign that there was a need for Urey to become the next junior senator of Montserrado County as he has the ‘resources’.
Next week Tuesday is expected to see almost half a million voters casting their votes for any of the 10 candidates who are vying to become the next senator of Montserrado County following the death of Junior Senator Hannah G. Brent (CDC) who died August 3 of this year.
Fayiah Harris, a resident of Clara Town on the Bushrod Island in Monrovia told FPA Wednesday that he encountered a group of ‘foot-soldiers’ who asked him to show them his voter’s card to them for the purpose of taking only the identification number. Harris said he was promised to be given US$10 once it became clear that he was not willing to cooperate with them.
He said he was given US$5, with a balance of US$5 to be given to him over the weekend.
When some of the ‘foot-soldiers’ were contacted, they told FPA that the exercise is only intended for them to identify their partisans and to establish a closer relationship with them.
Admitting To Paying Cash For Compensation, Not Buying
A man believed to be in his mid-30’, Bishop Weah of Clara Town in whose possession were some of the ‘foot-soldiers’ campaign-forms admitted that they do give money but it is only restricted to their partisans and is meant for what he termed as compensation.
He told FPA: “We are not buying voters. We are only identifying with the voters of our party to avoid them being captured by another candidate. We only compensate them”.
Weah, who had four voters’ cards in his possession, vehemently refused to be photographed which was even the condition under which he said he could speak to FPA.
Intended For Stock-Pile Ballot
What is however puzzling is how can the recording of voters’ identification numbers by the ‘foot-soldiers’ influence the result of the by-election when in fact the voters whose identification numbers are being recorded remain to hold their respective voter’s cards?
Representative Teah said the intention of the exercise is to have what she referred to as ‘stock-pile ballots’ which would eventually end up in the favor of the ruling party.
She explained: “These things are intended to create stock-pile ballots just as was the case in 2005. This means that there will be about five to 10 cards bundled together where people will just take that entire batch and mark it in favor of one candidate.”
Representative Teah said she is convinced that this is not being done for nothing, especially where the ‘foot-soldiers’ are reportedly paying money. She also alleged that the first dubious act they were involved in was the purchasing of the voters’ cards but later began to take the information from the voters’ cards this time around since most voters not cooperating with them.
Representative Teah, talking in an angry mood then dragged the National Elections Commission (NEC) into the voters-purchasing saga. She said she is convinced that NEC is implicated because according to her, there were some purported frauds during the Commission’s replacement of voters’ cards.
“During the replacement exercise (of voters’ cards), there were some people’s photos missing. Sometimes your name is there but your photo is not there. So, what is happening? Is computer swallowing photos?” the CDC lawmaker exclaimed.
The NEC, through its spokesperson, Nathan denied ever being aware of such. Nathan further told FPA via mobile that the commission is even yet to receive any formal complaint from any of the candidates or political parties.

FAIR AND BALANCE
Reliable sources have hinted the In Profile Daily that the ruling Unity Party has taxed all top Government officials to collectively raise US$85,000.00 in support of its candidate for the Montserrado County Senatorial By-election, Mr. Clemenceau B. Urey.
According to the sources who attended the meeting over the weekend where the decision was made, the officials were taxed between US$500.00 and US$1,500.00 each as their contributions to Mr. Urey's campaign, for what the sources referred to as paying loyalty to the ruling party to maintain their positions.

However, some officials who were invited to the meeting were not UP members and were stunned that the Party would call meanly government officials together to seek financial support of this nature when times are so hard in this country.

One of the invitees said, “How do they expect these people to come up with the money?” He furthered, “I am not too sure anyone I saw in that gathering is going to personally come up with any money from their personal account, it's going to be drawn from government revenues in one way or another'.
Political observers spoken to on the matter indicated that it is possible that such deal could exist, tracing political taxations back to the True Whig Party days and said those who contributed did not do it from personal funds; rather, it appeared so to the public but actually came from public coffers.
According to a political historian, the party in power has several trump cards at its disposal in trying to win an election or coveted seat such as this one. He said, “The ruling party can have almost all, if not all of its services be paid for by the state. It's easy to have party expenses buried among state expenses without trace for a long time”.

The heavily contested seat that became available due to the death of Senator Hannah Brent, is a prelude to the 2011 presidential and general elections. Many see it as a leadership test for the ruling party. As such, the party is taking no chances and is rounding up support from every angle and everyone willing to lend a hand.

Already, in a non-scientific poll being conducted by this paper, Friday's results shows that the CDC's Geraldine Doe-Sheriff has a slight lead over her competitors in the lineup. Including UP's Clemenceau B. Urey, who is third behind APD's Wilson K. Tarpeh and one vote higher than Alhaji G.V. Kromah, an Independent Candidate. As the campaign heats up, the ruling party is expected to “unleash every weapon in its arsenal to win this one” says the political historian.

CONGRATULATION: FPA
CONGRATULATION!

Monrovia -

“It is not only voluminous and well-informative, but it is also full of evidences. It is full of proof and well detailed, like the Maritime story on page 11”, said Zack Wleh, one of Monrovia’s curious residents who found their heads buried in a rather strange newspaper.

Residents of Monrovia were Wednesday early morning awaken to the sight of a strange newspaper on the Liberian newsstand. People in offices, street corners, entertainment centers, and university campuses and even in vehicles were seen Wednesday curiously flipping the pages of the FrontPageAfrica newspaper with much excitement as most of them nodded their heads as they read the promotional copies of the newspaper.

In addition to several phone calls received by staff writers and reporters of FPA from dozens of readers throughout Wednesday who commended them for what most of them described as job well-done, several others kept themselves busy with the 30-page newspaper which contained stories ranging from politics to legal matters to economics and sports including several columns on other wide range of issues.

Wednesday, FrontPageAfrica, after more than four years of establishing itself as Liberia’s most reliable and most-read online newspaper, produced its maiden edition of its print version as it transitions from online to print. While the online service remains to cater to its millions of online readers, the print version is intended to not only be circulated in just the Capital but nationwide as well.

In his commentary commemorating the launch of the print version, the Editor-In-Chief, Rodney Sieh said, “As we make this transition, it is important to restate that we intend to carry out our duties in the same professional manner we have fought to maintain thus far: without a hidden agenda, driven by our mantra to tell the truth—and to follow the story where it takes us. Either we tell it like it is, or we do not tell it at all!

V’mert Kaifunbah, a business man who despite his busy schedule occurred himself with the articles of the FrontPageAfrica newspaper said, And what I love the most about it is that it is like a Western newspaper—I mean the in-depth reporting by the writers, the nature of information, the volume, the extra-ordinary size of the papers, and so on. ”

“It is simple to read, unlike other dailies who believe in big words”, said Mariama Passewe, a high school student. “I wouldn’t mind even if the price is stepped up because it is worth it”, she said

On the University of Liberia main-campus, Wleh said he paid L$35.00 (almost twice the price of the newspaper) because he desperately needed to lay his hands on one. “My comrades kept telling me about the paper. So I had to reach on MacDonald Street (the site of the newspaper vendors) to get it for L$35.00, though I was initially told that it was being sold for L$20”, he said.

Hailed For Scandals Exposure
Several of the readers told FPA that they will subscribe to the print version because, according to them, they love the FPA’s continual exposure of scandals.

Editor Sieh, in his commentary, stated: “One of the key reasons FPA insists on exposing scandals is to tackle and assist our country's postwar development efforts and help anchor its new democracy for which so many lives were sacrificed! FPA’s struggling young journalists love their country and work hard every day and night to ensure that our newfound freedoms and rights are not subverted by a few that might be politically well-connected. Needless to say, our approach has drawn frustration from many who have tried tirelessly and still look to manipulate FPA and convert it into another mouthpiece for the ‘powers that be.’”

Sieh urged readers to continued to support the efforts of the FPA as it makes the much-anticipated transition from online to print. He continued in the commentary, “ To those in government—and their relatives hoping to strike and reap gold at the expense of poor and struggling Liberians, we are watching, waiting and we will expose you!”

“Liberia is our country and belongs to no person or group in particular. FrontPageAfrica remains committed to a strong code of ethics that it has mandated its journalists to adhere to. Accordingly, we seek nothing less than the truth in pursuit of fairness to all parties and a firm commitment to the protection of our institution”, he concluded.

LETTERS OF THE DAY !!!
Addicted Reader Can't Get Enough of FrontPageAfrica
11/13/09

The Editor,
Thanks for your continuous effort in making information available to us here in the Diaspora. I am grateful that Front Page is there to give us a balance news. I must confessed, I think I am addicted to Front-Page Africa. Every morning when I enter my office, the first rite of passage is to access the internet to see the breaking news from Front Page Africe (FPA). When this is done my day can then begin.

On the other hand, I am a bit concern that you are not following on some of the sensational news event to the end. You report on issues that attracts your readers attention but then months past and there is no final information about the outcome of such news events. I guess l should not be questioning you, but rather asking the government to please give us the final episodes in the many drama that continue to unfold in Liberia.

Finally I am wondering why you haven't updated your news for two days now? Sorry if it seem like l am crying, l am just hungry for more news.

Keep up the good work.

D Sumo,
