Dr. HENRY BOIMA FAHNBULLEH JR. IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT IS WRONG WITH AFRICA

By Roland Sumo - (May 18th 2005)

"... With all of your big book, where were you when Charles Taylor was killing our people? Why didn’t you go to the U.N. or the United States Congress to use some of these grammars in order to free our people from the bondage of poverty? Where were you when the Lone Star of Liberia needed logistical support in order to play and bring glory to Liberia? Where were you when the Late Samuel Doe turned to you for help and made you Minister of Education, and Foreign Affairs? ...."

It saddens me a whole lot to see how Henry Boima Fahnbulleh is belittling himself by some of the very silly and unrealistic comments he has been making towards Mr. George M. Weah and other Liberians that he feels are of lesser education when compared to him.

For the nerve of this man to come up and suggest that the country must revolt if Mr. Weah happens to win the up coming Presidential Election because according to him, George Weah is an illiterate. This statement from our honorable Dr. Fahnbulleh, clearly shows how functionally illiterate he is, He has clearly demonstrated that he is really a relic of the past and only history will judge him.

Mr. Samuel D. Tweah Jr. in his article in the Analyst News Paper, made his case in a very simple and concise manner, but to clearly demonstrate my point, here is an except from the reply from Dr. Fahnbulleh:

A reply to one Samuel D. Tweah, Jr. : A Critique of the Bluster of a Charlatan By H. Boima Fahnbulleh, Jr.

We must accept the fact that there are many political hustlers out there who will spew invectives with the hope of relieving themselves of the pangs of frustration and depression in their Sisyphean quest for the fulfillment of some ambition. Thus, we are not surprised in the least by the effusive rendition of threadbare arguments and gossip by this individual called Samuel D. Tweah, Jr.

We know these types and their appetites and thus threat with scorn their vaunted boast of being the new revolutionaries. These ones are mere political fortune hunters who dabble in catch phrases and inane clichés, making a pretense of knowledge with elementary logic and disjointed arguments! These are the political laggards we have to confront in an effort to interpret our history to the people and give future generations an understanding of what actually transpired and not the inflammatory cavils of delusional wiseacres.

Even Mr. Webster who wrote the Dictionary will get exhausted reading through this. We all know my dear Dr. that you are highly educated and full of yourself, but is it really necessary for all verbosity?

With all of your big book, where were you when Charles Taylor was killing our people?

Why didn’t you go to the U.N. or the United States Congress to use some of these grammars in order to free our people from the bondage of poverty? Where were you when the Lone Star of Liberia needed logistical support in order to play and bring glory to Liberia? Where were you when the Late Samuel Doe turned to you for help and made you Minister of Education, and Foreign Affairs? I guess you were busy looking for more new words in the dictionary, so that you can go on and on quoting Shakespeare, and Socrates. With all of your political grand standing, you have not done any thing significant for this poor country and you will take that to your grave.

As we say around here, “we got you figured out”. We the Liberian people will not fall for that craziness, and stunts that you use to pull in the seventies and early eighties. You and your compatriots used the University of Liberia, and Schools in the Monrovia Consolidated School System to spread your stupid Marxist, and political big talk. You incited student into rage and riots, and today what did we get from your false teaching? Have you for one moment ever ask yourself as to what ever happened to all of those students? Thanks to you many of them are dead. Yes I mean DEAD. We got nothing from you but a Country and people in ruins searching for direction. But our GOD will see you, you just mark my words. You cause the death of Tolbert and his Ministers by these same lies and propagandas, and twenty five years later instead of you sit quietly, you want to talk.

May be it is because of you Liberians like George Weah could not finish school, and graduate, so GOD led him to what will make him bring pride and glory to the same Liberia you and others work very tirelessly to destroy. George Weah is an eleventh grade drop out, but he placed Liberia on the International Pedestal. You on the other hand have all of the Education and experience that the world can offer, what have you done for Liberia lately?

Without me using this forum to insult you sir, let me just give you a very good and friendly advice, JUST SHUT UP.

This is a new day and a new Liberia, and you are no longer a factor in this equation.
