 Today, on behalf of our constitutional democracy and Liberians worldwide, I, through my esteemed counsel Jerome G. Korkoya, Esq., filed a petition with the Supreme Court of the Republic of Liberia, challenging the Liberian government’s erroneous and unconstitutional assumption that a Liberian automatically loses his or her Liberian citizenship when that Liberian becomes a naturalized citizen of a foreign country, votes in a foreign election, or serves in a foreign armed forces without prior approval from the President of Liberia.

 Jacksonville, Florida, June 30, 2010: The Organization of Liberian in Northeast Florida has elected new officers of the association. Those elected are Mr. Obaku Nyomah, President, Mr. Nathaniel Passaway (DJ Nadee) , Vice President, while Mr. Abraham Bah retained his position as General Secretary.

Monrovia, June 29, 2010: A local pro-democracy and citizen mass action group has sharply reacted to the statement issued by CDC’s Mulbah Morlu to the effect that the Executive Mansion “launched superfluous media assault” on the Director of USAID, Dr. Pamela White for saying that the President was asked by US President Barack Obama to intensify her fight against corruption.

Liberia’s national liberation Movement, the CDC now considered the most feasible democratic alternative to the failed Unity Party rule, has expressed unlimited disapproval over superfluous media assaults launched on the Director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) by the office of President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.
