The euphoria that our honorable legislature is not applying due
diligence before confirming executive nominees in our body politic is an
interesting characterization.

Introduction
When words of the Liberian civil war broke out in December, 1990, few
Liberians paid attention to what will later come to ruin their lives
forever. Liberians are curiously a self-satisfied people.

I Will Not Take the Liberian Government to Court for the Irresponsible Attitude of Sebastian Muah
Calls have been pouring
in that I bring a law suit against the Liberian Government for the
irresponsible manner in which, the Deputy Minister of Planning for
Policy, Sebastian Muah, discussed my employment privacy on Facebook.
Firstly, let me make it crystal clear, I will not glorify the misfit
naivety of a post 1990 high school graduate.

Open Letter To Dr. Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, President Of The Republic Of
Liberia
May 25, 2010
President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, you have wholeheartedly won my support
for your second run by just being downright in defining Liberia’s most
fundamental problem as a “general mindset of dishonesty” that has
permeated all fabrics of our socialization and still remains a major
problem today.

1) Where Is The Executive Leadership?
The executive mansion has not surprisingly softened its position on the
results of the recent HIPC audit, which unearthed $5M irregularity at
the Ministry of Finance. Not only has the President cleared the finance
minister, Mr. Augustine Ngafuan, of any wrongdoing in the current
financial scandal but, she sweepingly declared no one should be held
accountable for the discrepancies in the fiscal outturn report
(FY2007/2008). According to the President, “it’s more than a Government
problem or an executive problem.

I was taught that grief is a normal human emotional response to the loss
of someone or something that is important to them. It is often
expressed in the form of a combination of sorrow, confusion and anger.

Although the history of Liberia’s football and players is yet to be
written, we, who have been witnesses to the performances of football
players in Liberia will argue that such history, if and when it is
written, will not be comprehensive without pages mentioning David Momo,
Patrick Teah, Tommy Manneh, Julius Kennedy, Sylvester “Red” Weah,
William Wleh Nah, Jackson Weah, William Wreh, Michael Tarplah, John
“Monkey” Brown, Gladstone Ofori, and Philip “Coacha” Davis.

When the investigative news organ FrontPage Africa was only being
published in cyber space the Liberian government did all it could to
discredit its genuine investigative work; and when Auditor General John
Sengbeh Morlu of the General Auditing Commission (GAC) made the
controversial remark that the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf government was
“three times corrupt than the Bryant interim government” everybody in
officialdom was calling for his scarp.

Two Women that are Right for the Job
Even though President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has given the country much
needed credibility, she definitely isn’t the future for Liberia. What do
the Unites States of America, the United Kingdom and Russia have in
common? All three great nations have leaders who are in their forties --
Barack Hussein Obama age 49, Prime Minister David William Cameron age
43 and Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev age 44.
