Re: Paved Road in Belle Yalla
Dear Madam President:
We write to extend compliment of the seasons to you, your family, and your administration. We also take this time to say thank you for fulfilling your promise to connect Belle Yalla to other parts of Gbarpolu and Liberia via a paved road.

My fellow Liberians I want to take this time again to remind you on how
we became who we are. Many of us in the third world countries hold the
believe that someone somewhere is responsible for the way we are as
individuals, people and nation. The question is, why we are the way we
are?

Introduction
The final report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) of
Liberia faces a full implementation challenge. The report itself forms
the basis of promoting national peace, security, unity and
reconciliation in Liberia as contained in the Accra Comprehensive Peace
Agreement (CPA) of August 2003, which formally ended the 14-year
Liberian civil war.

For more than 15 years Liberia has been struggling for a leader that
will take the country to the next level. We have been on try and error
for so long and seem not to work for us. Almost two years from now we
are going to the poll again to choose a leader for this old African
suffering nation.

It is interesting to note that the same media which claim to be the

Africa confidential (an african
economic intelligent unit) knows President Sirleaf
swims in corruption
One of the many individuals who commented on my two articles on
President "Sirleaf''s corruption tree" stated that Liberia should not
institute any economic system that would prevent President Ellen
Johnson Sirleaf' from partnering with investors, even if such an
economic arrangement created an environment for Sirleaf’s business
partners to pay zero or miniscule taxes to Liberia.

I write with profound gratitude to inform the citizens of Gbarzon
District, Grand Gedeh County in the United States that Representative
Rufus Gbeor is again in the midst of another stolen vehicles scandal.
This time, he is accused by the United States officials near Monrovia
and Liberian government officials for shipping stolen vehicles from the
United States to Liberia.

...I thank our Maker for allowing us to see the end of another quiet year,
and count the blessing of life that has been bestowed upon us this
Christmas. I want every Liberian to know that the year 2010 brings us
one more step closer to A New Beginning and a new vision for Liberia.
This is a wonderful time to be a Liberian and I want everyone to remain
focused, engaged, and energized as we enter into 2010...

After more than four years of existence, collection of thousands of
statements from victims and perpetrators and the availability of
(comparatively) unlimited financial and logistical resources at their
disposal, the Liberian Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) has
completed its job with the submission of the edited and final version
of its findings and recommendations.
